Kongresni trg square (walking distance from Urban hotel 6 minutes): the site of the present Kongresni trg square was occupied by a small square already back in the Baroque period. The original square was thoroughly reconstructed for the 1821 Congress of the Holy Alliance and named after it.
City museum of Ljubljana (walking distance from Urban hotel 11 minutes): visitors can admire the Renaissance architectural features of the palatial museum building, as the museum is situated in Auersperg Palace, which in itself is an architectural monument.

It also houses a permanent exhibition of works by Zoran Mušič (1909–2005), one of Europe’s leading modernist painters, and various temporary exhibitions.
National museum of Slovenia (walking distance from Urban hotel 7 minutes): being Slovenia’s main museum of national history, the National Museum keeps a number of finds from Slovenia considered to be important treasures of the world’s cultural heritage. One of the most outstanding is the 60,000 year old Neanderthal flute from the Divje Babe excavation site.
Central market (walking distance from Urban hotel 9 minutes): apart from fresh Slovenian fruits and vegetables grown by local farmers, the market also offers a choice of tropical fruits, dry-cured meat products, balcony flowers, and plug plants. At the covered market, you can get dry-cured meat products, fresh meat, homemade bread baked in the wood-fired oven, homemade biscuits and other sweet baked goods, various kinds of homemade cheese, dried fruits and nuts, homemade olive and pumpkin seed oil and much more.
